JWA and SMMA win AIA Central Mass Design Award

Kristian Whitsett, Margo Jones and Dorrie Brooks were present in Worcester at the 2023 Annual Design Award for AIA Central Massachusetts when it was announced that Templeton Elementary had won the Merit Award. Templeton Elementary, 92,735 gsf school for 525 students was the third collaboration between the two firms but certainly not the last. The design was recognized for its elegant and efficient use of a tight site and consideration of educational priorities. Margo Jones, Dorrie Brooks and Henry Albin led the project for JWA. Alex Pitkin, Jenn Sousa and Marianna Hernandez led the project for SMMA.
