Office Manager

Chris Parkins joined our team at the beginning of 2014 as our Office Manager. Chris comes to us with a diverse background in managing organizations and working with people. From educator and Director of the Creative Learning Center/Cloud Forest Schools in Costa Rica, to the formation and operation of Catamount Computer and Technology Services in Vermont and Western Massachusetts.

Chris graduated Antioch College with a BA in Environmental Science in 1987, and completed his Masters in Education at Antioch University in 1990. After working several years in private education in the New England area, Chris moved to Monte Verde, Costa Rica, where he taught primary school and ultimately ended up running the CLC until the late 90’s. Upon returning to New England, Chris continued in the field of education, but also launched his own tech company. In 2007 Chris earned a Certificate in IT management from Marlboro College Graduate School. During this time he worked as CTO and Customer Relations Specialist for a small import business in Vermont, while also continuing to assist people and small businesses with their computer needs.

When not at work, Chris might be found playing music at an open mic or around a friendly fire.
