Wilson's enters Schematic Design

The proposed redevelopment of Wilson’s Department store in downtown greenfield will include the renovation of the first floor and additional storefronts into the new home of Franklin Community Co-op. The remaining property will be converted into 65 units of mixed income housing. Jones Whitsett Architects is collaborating on the project with Thomas Douglas Architects of Northampton. The project has entered schematic design with construction expected to begin on the first phase in December 2023.
