755 Worthington Street is a proposed 16,000 gsf new construction project for a highly efficient single unit occupancy housing project expanding the Springfield Friends of the Homeless campus. Jones Whitsett Architects is providing full design services and is currently developing preliminary concepts, site plans and systems narratives to initiate the permitting and development process. The four story project on a tight urban lot will create 36 units of owner occupied housing and a single floor of congregate care shelter and shared resources for tenants. This DHCD supported project aims for completion by January 2024.
