Greenfield is asserting its rightful place as a regional center thanks to completion of the new Federal Courthouse and the Olver Transit Center supporting bus and rail service. The Olive Street Parking Garage, designed by Jones Whitsett Architects, supports these important new investments by providing 247 new parking spaces in a three story structure across the street from the Olver Transit Center and a block from the new Federal Courthouse. Sensitive to local history, JWA’s pre-cast design incorporates historic bas-relief panels from the former Ford - Sweeny building, as well as interpretive panels and banners celebrating the Valley’s unique natural, agricultural and industrial history. The project was designed in association with Desman Associates and managed by Daniel O’Çonnell & Sons of Holyoke.
